The Killearn Horticultural Society Hoe! Not the show was a very successful event this year despite COVID restrictions. There were many online veg, fruit, flower, art and crafty virtual classes to enter (Margaret, Willie and the Wee Spuds were successful with multiple first, second and third places!) and an afternoon event in sunny Killearn on Saturday 28 August with a Scarecrow competition, marquee and various stalls including one set up by the Wee Spuds.
We had a lovely display board on the stall showing everyone what the Wee Spuds have been up to and we also sold our blackcurrant jam, rhubarb and orange chutney, home grown yellow courgettes, onions and garlic.
